Bittello ruled out of Rostov clash with broken rib

Italian defender joins growing list of absentees for Cherchesov

Spartak Moscow will be without Salvatore Bocchetti for their trip to Rostov on Sunday after the Italian defender was ruled out with a broken rib.

Bocchetti sustained the injury in training on Thursday and will join Zelimkhan Bakaev, Nail Umyarov and Alexander Sobolev on the sidelines for the trip to Rostov Arena.

The 34-year-old has been a key player for Spartak this season, making 17 appearances in all competitions and scoring three goals.

His absence will be a blow to Spartak, who are looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Zenit St Petersburg last weekend.

Rostov, meanwhile, will be looking to continue their good form after winning their last two matches.

The match at Rostov Arena will kick off at 14:00 Moscow time.
