Roskachestvo checked the quality of butter.
Experts checked the quality of butter from 20 brands made according to GOST R 52969-2008. It turned out that not all manufacturers comply with the requirements of the standard. And some add palm oil to butter. According to the results of the study, Roskachestvo added 6 brands of butter to the List of Goods with Violations. And seven more brands were blacklisted due to the detection of vegetable fats in them.
Palm oil in butter
According to GOST, butter should not contain vegetable fats. However, experts found vegetable fats in the butter of the following brands: - "Trading House Snezhka" 72.5% - "Brest-Litovsk" 72.5% - "Petrovskoe" 82.5% - "Volzhskie prostors" 82.5% - "Milava" 82.5% - "Russian Butter" 82.5% - "Ekoniva" 82.5%
Roskachestvo sent the results of the examination to the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being (Rospotrebnadzor). The agency will take appropriate measures against manufacturers.
