The sculpture, aptly titled "Богоматерь" or "Mother of God" in English, will stand 15 meters tall and is crafted from bronze. Its prominent placement at the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt and Lenin Avenue ensures maximum visibility and accessibility for residents and visitors alike. The sculpture's design draws inspiration from traditional Orthodox iconography, capturing the serene and compassionate image of the Virgin Mary.
The choice of Unity Day for the unveiling is highly symbolic.
