SOCHI, RUSSIA - August 22, 2023 - Former Russian national team captain Andrei Arshavin plans to participate in the 2023 Sochi Marathon, set for September 10 along the city's scenic waterfront and Olympic Park.

Arshavin, 42, retired from professional football in 2018 after a 19-year standout career with Zenit Saint Petersburg, Arsenal, and the Russian national team.
