The sacrament of Baptism was held in the Moscow region for foster families
On the basis of the Church of the Holy Martyr Tatiana at Moscow State University, the Sacrament of Baptism was performed for the children of foster families of the Moscow region.
The sacrament was performed by Bishop Panteleimon of Mozhaisk, head of the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service.
Godparents were also present at the ceremony
Godparents and relatives of the children were present at the ceremony. After the Baptism, Bishop Panteleimon addressed the newly baptized people with a sermon.
In his sermon, Vladyka Panteleimon noted the importance of Baptism in the life of a Christian, emphasized the need for spiritual education of children, and called on the parents to take care of their spiritual upbringing.
At the end of the service, the bishop presented the newly baptized with pectoral crosses.
