Jamal Murray, Julius Randle Lead Nuggets Past Timberwolves

Denver Wins Fourth Straight, Moves to 12-3

Jamal Murray scored 28 points and Julius Randle added 24 as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-104 on Friday night.

The Nuggets have now won four straight games and improved to 12-3 on the season. The Timberwolves have lost two straight and are now 6-9.

Murray was efficient from the field, shooting 10-of-18. He also had seven rebounds and seven assists.

Randle was also efficient, shooting 9-of-16 from the field. He also had 10 rebounds.

Nikola Jokic added 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for the Nuggets.

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 26 points. Karl-Anthony Towns added 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Nuggets led by just three points at halftime, but they outscored the Timberwolves by 10 in the third quarter to take control of the game.

The Timberwolves cut the lead to five points in the fourth quarter, but the Nuggets held on for the win.

The Nuggets will host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night.

The Timberwolves will host the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.
