Interview with Russian figure skater Roman Kondratyuk
Roman Kondratyuk, a Russian figure skater, shared his expectations from the Russian Grand Prix. The athlete told that he was preparing for the tournament in difficult conditions.
The Russian Grand Prix will be held from October 20 to 23 in Moscow. Competitions will be held among men, women, sports couples and dance duets.
“I am preparing in difficult conditions, I am doing everything I can,” Kondratyuk said.
The skater noted that he had not yet fully recovered from his injury, but he was doing everything possible to get in shape.
"I think I will be able to show a good result," Kondratyuk said.
The athlete also shared his expectations from the Russian Grand Prix.
"I think the competition will be very strong. Many strong skaters will take part in the tournament," Kondratyuk said.
"I will try to fight for the victory," the skater added.
In the 2022/23 season, Kondratyuk won the silver medal at the Russian Championship and the bronze medal at the European Championship.
