Leroy Sane exit on the cards as Bayern Munich winger 'likely to leave' at end of season
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are reportedly bracing themselves for Leroy Sane's departure this summer.
The Germany international has struggled to make a consistent impact at the Allianz Arena since joining from Manchester City in 2020 and is now said to be considering his future.
According to Sport Bild, Sane is 'likely to leave' Bayern at the end of the season, with the club 'aware' of his desire to move on.
The report claims that Sane has grown frustrated with his lack of playing time under Julian Nagelsmann and is keen to find a club where he can be a regular starter.
Sane has made just 17 Bundesliga starts this season, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Chelsea both said to be interested in signing him.
Bayern are reluctant to lose Sane, but they are also aware that they cannot force him to stay against his will.
The club is said to be willing to listen to offers for Sane this summer, but they will only sell him if they receive a suitable fee.
Sane's departure would be a blow to Bayern, but it would also free up space in the squad for another winger.
The club has been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, who is also said to be keen on a move to Munich.
Sancho would be a direct replacement for Sane, and he would add even more quality to Bayern's already formidable attack.
