Neymar out of Brazil squad despite injury return
The Paris Saint-Germain forward has not been included in Tite's latest squad for friendlies against Ghana and Tunisia later this month.
Neymar has not been called up to the Brazil squad for upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Tunisia despite returning from injury.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward has missed the last two months with an ankle injury but made his comeback in PSG's 2-1 win over Strasbourg on Saturday.
However, he has not been included in Tite's latest squad for the friendlies, which will be the last two matches before the World Cup in Qatar.
Tite has instead opted to call up a number of uncapped players, including Real Madrid's Rodrygo and Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli.
Neymar's omission from the squad is a blow to Brazil's hopes of winning the World Cup.
The 30-year-old is one of the best players in the world and his experience and quality would have been a major asset to the team.
However, Tite has made it clear that he will not select players who are not fully fit and Neymar is still not 100% fit.
Brazil will play Ghana in Le Havre on September 23rd and Tunisia in Paris on September 27th.
The Selecao are one of the favourites to win the World Cup and will be hoping to add to their record five titles in Qatar.
