Project Office for Interuniversity Campus Continues Work
Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University to Train Personnel for the Arctic Zone
The project office for the creation of an interuniversity campus of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) continues its work.
Innovative Educational Programs
The project will train highly qualified personnel for the development of the Arctic zone. The campus will implement innovative educational programs and conduct research in the field of Arctic technologies. The campus will also become a platform for cooperation between universities and industrial partners.
Creation of a Modern Educational and Scientific Complex
The project office is currently working on the development of a conceptual design for the campus. The campus will be located in the city of Apatity, Murmansk region. The campus will include educational buildings, research laboratories, a library, a student residence, and a sports complex. The total area of the campus will be about 100,000 square meters.
Training of Highly Qualified Personnel
The campus will train specialists in the fields of engineering, natural sciences, and economics. The campus will also offer postgraduate programs and conduct research in the field of Arctic technologies. The campus will train highly qualified personnel for the development of the Arctic zone.
Implementation of the Project
The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The total cost of the project is about 10 billion rubles. The campus is scheduled to open in 2025.
