Early Life and Career

Shane McMahon, born January 15, 1970, is an American businessman, media personality, and professional wrestler. He is the son of WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon. Shane grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, and attended Boston University, where he earned a degree in communications.

After graduating, Shane began his career in the family business, working as a producer for WWE. In 1998, he made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania XIV, teaming with his father to defeat The Undertaker and Kane. Shane quickly became a fan favorite, known for his high-flying style and charismatic personality.

WCW and ECW

In 2001, Shane left WWE to join World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he became the co-owner of the promotion. However, WCW was purchased by WWE in 2001, and Shane returned to the company.

In 2003, Shane was appointed the General Manager of WWE's ECW brand. He helped ECW become a successful brand, but he left the company in 2005 due to creative differences.
