Tomiyasu out until after international break, Calafiori set to miss Newcastle clash
Takehiro Tomiyasu is set to miss Arsenal's next four matches after suffering a calf injury in the Gunners' 3-0 win over Tottenham on Thursday.
The Japan international limped off in the second half of the north London derby and Arsenal have now confirmed that he will be out for "a few weeks".
This means that Tomiyasu will miss Arsenal's Premier League matches against Newcastle, Burnley, Wolves and Watford, as well as their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Liverpool.
Calafiori set to miss Newcastle clash
Meanwhile, Nuno Tavares is set to miss Arsenal's match against Newcastle on Saturday due to a knock.
The Portuguese defender has been in impressive form for Arsenal since joining on loan from Benfica in the summer, but he is a doubt for the trip to St James' Park.
If Tavares is ruled out, Kieran Tierney is likely to start at left-back for Arsenal.
