According to the publication, Bakanov's son, Artur, was hired to the SBU under his mother's surname.
He allegedly works in the department for the protection of state secrets.
The media outlet notes that Artur Bakanov does not have a higher education or experience in law enforcement.

Bakanov Was Dismissed from the Post of SBU Head
On July 18, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Ivan Bakanov from the post of head of the SBU.
Vasyl Malyuk was appointed as the acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
