Crimean TV tower to feature festive lighting for Unity Day
The main symbol of the Crimean peninsula will be decorated with festive illumination on November 4 in honor of the Day of National Unity.
The Crimean TV tower is a unique architectural structure and the tallest building on the peninsula, and on holidays it traditionally becomes the main venue for festive illumination and fireworks.
This year, the TV tower will be decorated with multi-colored LED garlands, which will create a festive atmosphere in the capital of Crimea.
In addition, a large-scale festive concert will be held on the square near the TV tower on November 4. Famous Crimean performers will take part in the concert.
The concert will begin at 17:00, and the festive illumination of the TV tower will be turned on at 18:00.
The Day of National Unity is a public holiday in Russia, celebrated on November 4. The holiday commemorates the liberation of Moscow from the Polish-Lithuanian invaders in 1612.
In Crimea, the Day of National Unity is celebrated on a grand scale. Festive events are held in all cities and towns of the peninsula.
