Dynamo Moscow bolster goalkeeping options

FC Dynamo Moscow have announced the signing of goalkeeper Roman Oreshchuk from FC BATE Borisov. The 24-year-old Ukrainian has signed a three-year contract with the Russian club.

Oreshchuk is a product of the Shakhtar Donetsk academy and has represented Ukraine at youth level. He made his senior debut for BATE Borisov in 2019 and has since established himself as one of the most promising goalkeepers in Belarus.

Oreshchuk's arrival at Dynamo Moscow will provide competition for current number one Andrey Lunyov. The 29-year-old Russian international has been a key player for Dynamo Moscow since joining the club in 2016, but he has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

Lunyov departs for BATE Borisov

Dynamo Moscow have also confirmed that Lunyov has joined BATE Borisov on a free transfer. The Russian goalkeeper has signed a two-year contract with the Belarusian club.

Lunyov has been a key player for Dynamo Moscow since joining the club in 2016, making over 150 appearances for the Russian club. He has also been capped 13 times by the Russian national team.

Lunyov's departure from Dynamo Moscow will come as a blow to the club, but it will give him the chance to play regular first-team football. BATE Borisov are one of the most successful clubs in Belarus and will be competing in the UEFA Europa Conference League next season.
