February is Men's World Day: Light rain in Anapa
Heavy snowfall across the country, but sunny weather in the south
Rain rather than snow is expected in the south of the country on February 23.
In most regions of Russia, the last week of winter will be frosty, snowy, windy and even stormy. However, in the south of the country the weather will be milder and more comfortable.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation, on Men's World Day it will be up to -20 °С degrees in Yakutia, -13 °С degrees in the Magadan Region, -11 °С degrees in Khabarovsk Krai and -9 °С degrees in the Amur Region. In the Urals, frosts will be slight, up to -5 °С degrees, in the Volga region - up to -4 °С degrees, in the Center - up to -3 °С degrees, and in the Southern Federal District - only up to 0 °С degrees. In addition, heavy snowfall is expected almost everywhere that day.
The only exception will be Anapa. Weather forecasters promise light rain there, and the air will warm up to +9 °С degrees.
