Magnussen to miss Brazilian GP practice due to illness
Haas driver not feeling well enough to take part in opening session
Team to evaluate fitness ahead of qualifying
Haas driver Kevin Magnussen will miss the opening practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix due to illness.
The team confirmed the news on Friday morning, saying that Magnussen was not feeling well enough to take part in the session.
Haas will evaluate Magnussen's fitness ahead of qualifying later today.
Magnussen has been in good form in recent races, scoring points in four of the last five grands prix.
His absence from practice will be a blow to Haas, who are looking to secure eighth place in the constructors' championship.
Nico Hulkenberg will take Magnussen's place in the car for the first practice session.
